A: There are many factors that can enhance the results of any of our massages. Below are some tips on how to achieve the most of your massage experience:

  • Stay hydrated before and after your massage
  • Pack a snack to enjoy after, this will keep you from feeling lightheaded
  • Take a hot shower or a warm bath with Epsom salts
  • Do your best to take it easy the rest of the day so your body can unwind and recover
  • Stretch lightly after a massage to release your endorphins and enhance your rnage of motion
  • AVOID alcohol and caffeine, this can cause expidited dehydration
  • Do not perform heavy physical activity or strenueous exercise for at least 24 hours post massage
  • Avoid sitting in one position for too long, walk arund/ stretch a little
  • Steer clear of environments with extreme heat (saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, etc.) for at least 24 hours post massage
