Lash Extensions FAQ
Want to know more about our lash extensions? Do you have questions about how aftercare works? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions below:
Q: Am I able to get my lashes wet?
A: We recommend not getting your lash extensions wet for the first 24 hours. After 24
hours, you can get them wet, but we advise that you dry your eyes with cool air or a
patting motion with a soft cloth.
Q: How do I take my makeup off?
A: NEVER use mascara on your lashes with lash extensions! Use an oil-free makeup
remover and a cotton swab to remove makeup on the eyelid and around the eye.
Avoid heavy makeup when possible.
Q: How long do lash extensions last?
A: Lash extension retention varies based on various factors such as face oil production,
water exposure, how often you touch your eyes/ eyelids, and environmental
factors. Typical results for lash extensions last 2-2.5 weeks. With our exclusive brand
of lash extensions and our bonder, our extensions can last up to 3.5 weeks! Please
schedule with us for touch ups as needed, or have them removed professionally;
DO NOT try to remove them yourself!
Q: Should I curl my lash extensions?
A: No, you should not curl, tint, or perm your lashes while you have lash extensions.
Q: How do I clean my lash extensions if I get makeup or dirt on them?
A: Ask your lash artist for reccommended products for cleaning lash extensions.
Q: What can I do to extend the life of my lash extensions?
A: There are lots of things you can do to increase the life span of your lash extensions:
- Sleep on your back or side.
- Wear an eye mask with hallowed out/lifted eye sections when you sleep.
- Brush your lashes 1-2 times daily. You will be provided an lash brush after every appointment.
- Clean your lashes with approved cleansers only (ask your lash artist for details).
- Avoid excess heat/ steam from places such as saunas, hot tubs, or super hot showers.
- If your lashes get wet, the best way to dry them is to use cool air. We recommend a battery operated fan or hairdryer on the cool setting. If neither of those are available, use a soft cloth in patting motions, not rubbing, to avoid immense pressure that could loosen lashes.
